The Golf to Give Challenge

August 17, 2018 at Stone Creek Golf Club

The Golf to Give Challenge focuses on raising funds for a worthy cause while also having a great time. In 2017, our inaugural tournament raised more than $19,000 in an effort to support Candlelighters For Children With Cancer.  Since then we have heard many personal accounts of how Candlelighters has, and continues to support kids and families experiencing childhood cancer. With your support, we are looking forward to building on the success of last year and having another phenomenal day of golf.

The Golf to Give Challenge needs 20 Volunteers for day of tournament help. Sponsorship opportunities are available that start as low as $150 for a tee or green sponsorship. Additionally, in-kind donations are needed for gift bags, raffle and auctions prizes. In 2017, we raised more than 25% of our proceeds from generous in-kind donors. Contact Darren Youngsma at darrenyoungsma@gmail.com for more information.

14th Annual Kruse Way Rotary Sounds Concert
October 3rd, 5:30pm Reception - 7:00pm Concert

This year we have another exciting evening to share with you:  The WannaBeatles -- a Grammy nominated group from Nashville -- will entertain you with an "almost" Beatles evening; scrumptious hors d'oeuvres and wine at the reception; the famous Art Bags filled with even better surprises, and "must have" silent auction choices.  All the monies raised will go to our programs to benefit children:  Patrick's Children (bringing education, food, and clean water to children in Uganda); Candlelighter's annual holiday party for children with cancer; scholarships to four and two year colleges; supplies to women's shelter in Portland; and more.  This will be Kruse Way Rotary's 31st year fully organizing, funding, and hosting the Holiday Party for our families.
