Candy Cane Lane

Candy Cane Lane

The holidays can be incredibly tough – especially for families struggling to pay medical bills or trying to take care of all of the costs that come along with treatment. Since 2005 Candy Cane Lane has matched families in financial need with sponsors who will purchase gifts for those children during the holidays to make Christmas wishes come true. When the families come to pick up gifts, we throw them a holiday party where even Santa makes an appearance!

Interested in sponsoring a family in 2020?

If you are interested in sponsoring one or more families next year, please contact Lisa. Please include how many families you would be willing to sponsor, and how many people are in the family. For example, you may want to sponsor two families, but no more than eight people. This way, we will be able to match you appropriately with families.

 How it works:

Once we have your paperwork and match you with a family,we will send over their wish list that includes all members in the household (and pets!) and what kinds of things will bring them joy this holiday season. We ask that you stay within $75-$100 per family member, in order to give all families a fair experience. Once you have the lists, you are free to shop! Please have all gifts wrapped and tagged with the person they are for prior to drop off.

Drop off:

Candy Cane Lane culminates in a large holiday party for all families who have been sponsored. There will be food, games, crafts and a visit from Santa! This is also where the families pick up their gifts. Once the time and place are finalized. you'll receive instructions on gift drop-off.

Can’t say goodbye?

We would LOVE for any of you who sponsor a family to volunteer at the party to meet the families and enjoy the festivities. We will need help the Friday before the event to receive gifts as well as organize them. The day of the party, we will need volunteers willing to help get gifts into families cars as well as general party assignments. If you are interested in helping out, please note that on your paperwork.
