Carol Crooke

Novartis Oncology

Trial Operations Manager

In some capacity, I have taken care of cancer patients my entire career starting as a student nurse.  Early on in my career, while young and raising my three boys, the emotional difficulty working with children and their families dealing with cancer led me to take care of adults only.  I have always enjoyed the different facets of cancer patients and continue to be inspired by their “love of life”.  I found my niche in cancer research and currently work for a large pharmaceutical company in operations, in part being the patient advocate.

Around 10 years ago I got on a bike for exercise and never looked back. Now that my boys are grown and all living on their own, it was a good time to give back to children (and their families).  I ride my bike year round and participate in the Ride for a Child (RFAC) program benefitting Candlelighters.
